Cardboard Rubbish Collection in Fulham SW6 – Job Completed on Sunday

Clearing Furniture Packaging Waste for a Client in SW6 1JS

Another weekend job we completed took us to Fulham SW6 1JS, where we helped a client clear a large pile of cardboard packaging left over from new furniture and electronics deliveries. The client reached out on Saturday, 30th August, asking for a next-day collection. We were happy to fit them in on Sunday, 31st August, with a booked time slot at 1:30 PM.

Early Arrival and a Change in Load Size

With the client’s permission, our team arrived a bit earlier than scheduled, at 12:36 PM, and began assessing the waste. The job was initially quoted and booked as a ¼ load of a small transit tipper van—mostly based on a rough estimate from the client over the phone.

However, once on site, it became clear that the volume of cardboard was significantly larger than expected. While the material was lightweight, it took up a lot of space. After a quick discussion with the client, the revised load was agreed to be ¾ of a van, with a new total cost of £250.

Ground Floor Access Made It Quick

The flat was located on the ground floor, which made access easy. All the cardboard was already broken down and stacked neatly, so the removal process was simple and efficient. By 1:00 PM, everything had been cleared, with minimal disruption and a very happy client.

Before & After Photos Provided

Although cardboard isn’t always the most visually dramatic type of waste, we still took before and after photos as usual. These give a clear sense of the volume cleared and show that the area was left tidy afterwards. The photos were shared with the client once the job was completed.

A Common Type of Job – Post-Delivery Cardboard Waste

This Fulham job is a perfect example of a common scenario—clients receiving new furniture or electronics and then needing help clearing the leftover packaging. While cardboard is easy to stack and store temporarily, it builds up quickly and can take over valuable space in the home.

Thanks to early communication and flexibility on both sides, this one went smoothly. Everything was agreed on the spot, updated without fuss, and cleared away in less than 30 minutes.
