Flat Furniture Removal in Holloway N7 9BA
On Monday, 21st July, we carried out a furniture removal job in Holloway, N7 9BA, for a client who needed help clearing out the remaining items from a third-floor flat. The job was booked in a time window between 1:00 – 2:00 PM, and we arrived just before 2:00 PM. The work was completed by 2:30 PM, taking just over 40 minutes from start to finish.
🪜 3rd Floor Flat with Lift – But Not Quite That Simple
Although the building had a lift, many of the items—especially the larger pieces—couldn’t fit inside. This meant we had to take a few extra steps to safely remove the furniture. Getting large furniture down from the third floor without full lift access always adds a bit of challenge, but we were well-prepared.
🛋️ Tricky Sofa? No Problem
The standout item was a fairly large L-shaped sofa, which came in separate pieces but still required additional disassembly before we could move it out. We carefully took it apart to avoid any damage to the sofa or the property. These types of sofas often need extra handling, and this one was no exception.
In addition to the sofa, we also collected:
- A mattress
- A headboard
- An old carpet
- Various small household bits and pieces
The client had already gathered the remaining furniture into one room, which helped us access everything more quickly.
🧹 Partial Flat Clearance – Done and Dusted
This job was a partial clearance, as most of the flat had already been moved out. We were simply removing what was left behind. Despite running slightly behind our scheduled window, the actual job itself went smoothly, and the client was pleased with the result.
We took before and after photos to document the work, and everything was cleared out by 2:30 PM sharp.
