Rubbish Removal in Twickenham TW1 – A Flexible Job with a Patient Client
Not every rubbish removal job goes exactly to plan — and this one in Twickenham, TW1 2HL is a great example of how good communication and a bit of flexibility can still lead to a successful outcome.
The client originally booked the job on Saturday, 30th of August, requesting a collection for Monday, September 1st. Unfortunately, due to a van breakdown, we had to reschedule the job for Wednesday, the 3rd of September.
The Delay: Handled with Patience and Clear Communication
We set a new collection window for 3:30–4:00 PM, but due to some delays on earlier jobs, we could only get there at 5:30 PM. Thankfully, the client had been informed ahead of time and kindly agreed to stay available throughout the day, which gave us the flexibility to still get the job done.
The Job: Quick Collection of Cardboard Waste
Once we arrived, the removal itself was quick and straightforward. The waste consisted mainly of cardboard packaging from recent deliveries, already set aside and ready to go.
The team had it loaded into the transit tipper van in under 10 minutes, and the area was left completely clean.
What the Client Paid
The total for this job was £100, which included:
- ¼ load on our transit tipper van
- Labour
- Cardboard disposal
Despite the delay, the client was happy with the result and appreciated the communication and follow-through.
